About Project Screen
With increased global demand for COVID-19 testing, we launched Project Screen by Prenetics in 2020 in support of keeping our community safe. We took advantage of our laboratory network, scientific expertise, and digital systems to deliver best-in-class, safe and accurate COVID-19 testing solutions.
Project Screen has become the trusted testing partner for the Hong Kong government, major corporations, event organisers, and individuals. We are proud to be playing our part in helping the people of Hong Kong stay safe and reclaim normalcy.
All asymptomatic individuals (excluding children under 2 years old and people not suitable for testing) holding valid Hong Kong identity cards, birth certificates or other valid identity documents (including Hong Kong residents and non-Hong Kong residents) are eligible for the test.
If you have symptoms, please seek medical advice. For the safety of our staff and other customers, we will refuse entry to anyone with symptoms in the last 14-days.
Do I need to book in advance?
Please book your appointment for a timeslot at least 4 hours prior to your departure time. At the moment, we do not allow any walk-ins for the test.
What do I need to bring / prepare for the test?
Please do not eat, drink, chew gum or smoke 30-mins before you intend to do the test. You must bring the travel document(s) you intend to use for clearing customs (e.g. Passport, Home Return Permit, etc.). Please ensure the personal information entered in your booking is consistent with the details in your travel document(s).
When will the results / test report be ready?
Under normal circumstances, reports will be released in 30 minutes after sample collection, however report release times may differ due to unexpected circumstances including the need to recollect or retest samples due to quality issues.
You are advised to book an appointment for a timeslot at least 4 hours prior to your departure.
Important: In case sample recollection is required, we will attempt to contact you by email and phone call. Please ensure you have provided a valid email and contact number.
Prenetics does not accept any responsibility or liability for losses arising as a result of any delay within this timeframe, or where we have been unable to reach you for sample recollection. Prenetics does not accept claims for losses where you have been unable to travel or work.
Can I request for the test report to be released earlier / at a specific time?
Unfortunately, we cannot fulfil such requests.
How will I receive the results / test report?
Please log in to your Prenetics account to view your test result. You will also receive SMS and email notifications once the result is ready.
Can I use the test report for my destination country?

Monday to Sunday: 06:30am - 11:59pm
How much is the test? What payment method is accepted?
The test costs HK$399. We accept VISA, Mastercard and AMEX credit cards for online payment.
Can I purchase my test directly at the Information Counter at the airport?
Currently, we do not accept any direct purchases at the Information Counter. However, you may book your appointment online ahead of time.
How will my data be used?
Prenetics’ internationally accredited laboratory adheres to international and industry standards, including ISO 27001 Information Security Standards, and administers a number of steps and protocols to ensure that your data remains safe and secure. The only parties who would have access to your test results data would be yourself, and Prenetics - i.e. the testing party. Prenetics does not share the data with any third party or any other member of the companies involved in the Project Screen consortium without your prior consent.
If I no longer need the test, can I ask for a refund or transfer my booking to others?
All sales are final and bookings are non-transferable. Special conditions apply for customers impacted by flight disruptions or entry restrictions due to COVID-19. Please email email@example.com with a valid proof of flight change for further assistance.
