Book your slot for a COVID-19 test at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).
Currently, travellers departing from Hong Kong to Mainland China by air are required to complete two pre-departure PCR tests:
Self-paid PCR test within 48 hours prior to your scheduled flight at HKSAR Government-recognised laboratory for COVID-19 testing, required by relevant authorities of the Mainland China.
An additional mandatory rapid PCR test performed 5-8 hours prior scheduled time of departure, required by the HKSAR Government and does not replace the self-paid nucleic acid test as per the prevailing requirements of relevant Mainland China authorities.
The sample collection time is the official recognised timestamp. Thus, in order to fulfil governmental requirements, it is advised to book an appointment between the above quoted hours prior to your scheduled flight time. Your departure may be denied if any of the above test results is positive.
An additional mandatory rapid PCR test required by the HKSAR Government and does not replace the self-paid nucleic acid test as per the prevailing requirements of relevant Mainland China / Macau authorities.
This is the additional mandatory PCR test sponsored and required by the HKSAR Government as per the prevailing requirements of relevant Mainland China / Macau authorities. Only results obtained at designated site in Hong Kong International Airport are recognised.
