As required by the HKSAR Government, all participants and working staff must undergo a COVID-19 PCR-based nucleic acid test arranged by the Organiser within 48 hours prior to the event day.
You must make reservation and the timeslot will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

How the Test Works

All tests must be pre-booked. Please arrive the selected testing site according to the reserved timeslot.

Upon arrival at testing site, show your appointment details and identification documents to our staff. After checking, you will be guided to sample collection booths.

Your sample will be collected by a trained medical personnel strictly following infection control guidelines from the Government. You will then be guided to collect your Rider Pack.

You will be notified of your test result in your Prenetics account, SMS and email.

On event day, you will be asked to show your test result in your SMS/Email as a proof for completing your test. Only persons with negative results are allowed to participate in the event.
What happens upon Receiving Test Results?


Manage Your Test Result Directly in Your Prenetics Account
Please log in to your Prenetics account to view your result. You will also receive SMS and email notification once the result is ready. The SMS will contain the result and also a web link for you to download the report in PDF format, and will also include details on how to unlock the PDF file.
On event day, you may only present your test result in your SMS/email as a proof for completing your test. Only persons with negative results are allowed to participate in the event.

All participants and working staff of the 2022 Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon are eligible for the test. If you have symptoms, please seek medical advice.
For the safety of our staff and other participants, we will refuse entry to anyone with symptoms.
COVID-19 PCR-based nucleic acid test powered by Prenetics at the designated locations during 16 – 17 Dec, 2022 are the recognized COVID-19 PCR-based nucleic acid test of the 2022 Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon. Test results from Community Testing Centres or clinics are not accepted.

The specimen collection method of combined nasal and throat swab (CNTS) will be conducted by our trained health professionals in accordance with guidelines provided by the Centre for Health Protection. We do not offer other specimen collection methods.
All tests must be pre-booked. You will be able to make an online booking after the system verified your identity. We do not allow walk-ins for the test.
Please do not eat, drink, chew gum or smoke 30-mins before you intend to do the test.
In order to verify your identity, you will need to physically present your identity document (HKID or Passport) used during the online booking at the testing site.
Please log in to your Prenetics account to view your result. You will also receive SMS and email notification once the result is ready. The SMS will contain the result and also a web link for you to download the report in PDF format, and will also include details on how to unlock the PDF file.
Please note SMS notification is available for verified Hong Kong mobile numbers only.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate such requests.
For samples collected on 16 Dec 2022, reports will be released by 08:30, 17 December 2022;
For samples collected on 17 Dec 2022, reports will be released by 23:00, 17 December 2022.
Prenetics does not accept any responsibility or liability for losses arising as a result of any delay within this timeframe. This includes claims for losses where you have been unable to join the event. We highly recommend participants finish their test on 16 Dec 2022.
As we will not share negative results to the HKSAR for this event, therefore this test cannot fulfill the HKSAR compulsory testing requirement.
