Can pregnant women, children and toddlers be tested?

Pregnant women can be tested, and it will not cause any harm to the pregnant woman's body, and the test results will not be affected during pregnancy.

Project Screen employs professional medical staff to provide specimen collection services, and can provide testing services and reports for children aged 3 or above. However, eligibility for the test is subject to judgement of on-site medical staff on the day of testing.

Can I be tested if I am unwell?

Prenetics’ testing services are not intended for individuals who are suffering from a cold, experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or other severe symptoms, including severe fever, constant chest pain or pressure, severe cough, severe shortness of breath, difficulty in breathing, constant light-headedness or serious disorientation. For those who are suffering from any of these symptoms, we recommend using the Flowflex™ COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test kit or seek medical advice from your healthcare provider.

What kind of test do I need before I travel?

Due to the different and changing requirements of entry documents for different destinations, please confirm the most up-to-date entry requirements with your airline prior to ordering a test.

What do I need to bring / prepare for the test?

Please do not eat, drink, chew gum or smoke 30-mins before you intend to do the test. You must bring the travel document(s) you intend to use for clearing customs (e.g. Passport, Home Return Permit, etc.). Please ensure your personal information is consistent with that in the Prenetics Health Passport.

I would like to make changes to my registration / report details

You are still able to make changes to your personal details under your profile after you've purchased the test, and before you complete registration at the Information Counter.

Once you have finished registration at the Information Counter, you are no longer able to make changes to your personal details. Therefore, please ensure your personal details are correct before registration.

Can my child perform the test?

Children under 3 years old are not eligible for the test.

If I no longer want to do the test, what should I do?

You may contact us at support@prenetics.com to cancel or reschedule your booking.

How will Prenetics protect my data?

Prenetics takes the trust you place in us seriously. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of information, we use a range of physical, technical, and administrative measures to safeguard your Personal Information, in accordance with current technological and industry standards. In particular, all connections to and from our website are encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

Prenetics stores your data on Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS is recognised as a global leader in the security of genomic data. To provide even further assurance for our customers, we also separate any personally identifiable information and genomic information.

How long will Prenetics keep my sample?

All samples would only be used for testing COVID-19. Additionally, all negative samples would be discarded within 7 days according to ISO-15189 laboratory guidelines.
